Rabbit Care raises Series C led by Winter Capital and VGI

Thai marketplace and brokerage Rabbit Care raises Series C funding from Winter Capital and Thai media conglomerate VGI.

Rabbit Care, is Thailand's leading marketplace for insurance covering motor, health, life, travel, and corporate insurance. It also offers loans, savings, and credit cards.

The company was founded by Johannes von Rohr, Michael Steibl and Andre Prenzlow in 2013.

Alpha Founders Capital backed Rabbit Care's early investment rounds, before receiving US$10m in Series A from VGI and US$15m in Series B from Samsung Ventures and Korea Investment Partners.

Rabbit Care targets US$80m insurance premium distributed in 2022 with a revenue north of US$25m. Rabbit Care grew 100%+ from 2020 to 2021 and targets to reach operating profitability by 2023. The platform counts 4m+ customers and 70+ business partners, employing 800+ staff.
